3rd Balkan Sports Medicine Congress, 27-31 October 1976,

The main themes:
1) Biological factors and determinants for the sportive preparations in sports medicine
2) Positive and negative stimulations of physiological characteristics and physical capabilities of sportsmen
3) Cooperation of pedagogs and sports medics for physical education
Some other topics of the Congress were; training load determination on youngsters using ergospirometry, talent identification and selection in sport, physical capabilities in children aged between 7-15 years, VO2 max as the predictor of performance capacity and respiratory energy consumption, doping, nutrition, sexual activity and sport.

Congress official languages were Serbian and English. German, Russian and French simultaneous translations were provided.
